2019 What a Year.

Following on from our 2018 Round Up Blog post, we’ve done the same thing again this year as this year has been an absolute whirlwind. We have had an exceptionally busy year that we are all extremely grateful for. We have of course, attended several big events, lots of parties and our bread and butter of site work. I have highlighted a few things that have been a pleasure to do.

Godney Gathering and Garslade Farm. This is always a firm favourite in our diary, we just love this mini festival and all it brings. This year’s headliners included…. The Feeling, Dreadzone, The Bottom Line, 3 Daft Monkeys, Cosmic Ninja and may more. The weather was exceptional and crowd fabulous. Camping at Garslade farm impeccable with truly superb hosts Mike and Bridget. We can’t wait for 2020 which will see the festival being held over two days.

Weston Pride was also on the agenda, it gets bigger and better each year. The event was a whole weekend in Grove Park, Weston Super Mare. Again, we were very lucky with weather, love, diversity and respect shown in the bucketful’s, but with a dash of colour and glitter.

Grail Quest Race, was an absolute scream this year. Not only did we provide the toilets for this 40 plus 10K obstacle race, we entered a team and took part ourselves. We were wet, covered in mud, but really enjoyed the event which was very well organised and had a brilliant medal at the end. We will see you next year, and try to beat our current race time.

East Huntspill Harvest Home, a tradition that has been around for hundreds of years. They celebrated in style, with the traditional harvest lunch and cider a plenty. Competitions for the best scarecrow and decorated baskets, plus live music and entertainment.

We have of course continued to support all of our local sports, which include, Bridgwater Cricket Club, Weston Cricket Club, Winscombe Rugby Club, Burnham Rugby Club and of course, The Rebels at Somerset Speedway.

We also sponsored Burnham and Berrow Golf Club with their Captains day, where all the proceeds raised went to the Charity, Springboard Opportunity Group.

Site work we have been inundated with. Whether it be site toilets or waste services, we have provided an exceptional service as always to all our customers.

I would really like to thank the team in this part, as it really is about them. They continue to show dedication and a passion for what we do. They go above and beyond daily and it is not unnoticed by us or our customers.

We regularly have wonderful feedback in regards to our service, this is down to our dedicated hardworking team.

Please note: We shut on Christmas Eve and will be back on Thursday 2nd Jan 2020, no emergency  call outs this year due to family commitments.

All that’s left to do is wish you a very Happy Christmas and Prosperous Year New Year.
